Jasmin turned a simple swipe on #gifted into an unforgettable Bali escape, proving the power of authentic creator and brand partnerships. Her story shows how genuine content and lifestyle aligned collabs unlock incredible opportunities.
When micro-influencer Jasmin swiped right on a dream gift on the #gifted, she never expected it to lead to an unforgettable escape to Bali with her family. What started as a simple match turned into a luxury adventure filled with new adventures, creativity, and storytelling.
Her experience shows how authentic collaborations between brands and creators can deliver incredible results. For brands, it’s proof that working with micro-influencers brings genuine engagement, community trust, and content that feels real. For creators, it is a reminder that staying true to your own voice and creative style is what brands are drawn to. When your content reflects your real lifestyle, it builds a stronger portfolio and opens the door to even more opportunities.
Jasmin:
Honestly, I love it. #gifted feels like Tinder but for products, events, and brands. You match with brands that actually suit your lifestyle and it makes connecting so easy. It takes away the awkward pitching side and has opened up so many opportunities for me to work with brands I genuinely love and use in everyday life.
Jasmin:
I was scrolling through the #gifted app one night and saw it, so I swiped and never in a million years thought I’d actually land something so special. Apart from visiting such a beautiful country and seeing the ins and outs of Marine Safari Bali, the real highlight was the people. We made lifelong friendships and found new ways to collaborate. I met creators from Melbourne and Adelaide who have already invited us to visit, hang out, and create together again. It honestly made the whole experience unforgettable.
I also want to say a huge thank you to Lisa from Comms101 for making it happen. I worked with Lisa last year on the Prezzee Christmas campaign and maybe that positive experience helped in getting chosen for this one. Either way, I’m so grateful it all came together the way it did.
(Gift Details: Creators enjoyed a fully hosted 2–3 night escape in Bali, including return flights, luxury accommodation at Mara River Safari Lodge, and a curated itinerary.)
Jasmin:
I’ve had so many special ones. Solatube installed a skylight for us in our hallway and I created UGC for them. It completely transformed the space and made it so bright. A visit to Scenic World to see their dinosaurs was such a fun family day, and the Shein Spring Summer campaign was another favourite. I got to attend their activation with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House in the background which was such an iconic Sydney moment.
Jasmin:
Definitely the community. I’ve made so many genuine friendships through this space and love being able to connect over the real parts of life, not just the highlight reel. It’s also been such a creative outlet for me to step out of my beige era and rediscover what inspires me.
Jasmin:
I’m still kind of starting out myself, but I’d say just be yourself and have fun with it. Don’t wait until everything feels perfect. Start creating with what you have and in your own voice. Brands can tell when you’re being genuine. And swipe right on the ones that actually fit your lifestyle because that’s when the best partnerships happen.
Jasmin’s Bali collab is more than a feel-good story. It’s proof that when brands work with micro-influencers who truly align with their values, the results are authentic, engaging, and memorable. Her journey shows that influencer gifting isn’t just about products — it’s about building community, creativity, and long-term relationships that benefit everyone.
